Amy & Kurtis met while competing for their respective schools at a water skiing competition. Amy went to KU, Kurtis attended Purdue. They realized early on they had a lot in common. Naturally, they love to hang out at the lake, grill, and ride their bikes together. Any activity that allows them to spend quality time together outdoors makes them happy. Jenny & I tried to incorporate as much of that into their engagement session as possible, so we headed to the lake her dad made (yes, her dad made the lake in their backyard), rode bikes (mine was for an 8 year old and had 2 flat tires), water skiied (is that a word?), tubed, swam, and just had as much fun as we possibly could.

Erin O'Neil - I LOVE this session! Josh, I follow you on twitter and saw you tweet about this session. This is kind of crazy, but my husband and I met while he was on the ski team at Clemson University and I was on the team at Georgia College & State University. Mountain biking and skiing are our favorite sports and both of our parents built man-made lakes in their backyards for us to train in when we were younger. We have so much in common with this couple and love how you captured their personalities! Ahhh. Love it. Awesome session!
