Just a few of our dear friends in California…I love them so much! Isn’t Reece one of the cutest little girls in the world?

The Keals come back every year, and when they do, we get to laugh with them for a few hours. They’re OUR people. They know that life is too stinkin’ short to not have fun. They genuinely care for one another. They LOVE each other. Jenny + I see in their family qualities we’re trying to foster with ours. And those are the best families to photograph. We see them change, and grow and we can learn what they’re doing to nurture those qualities in their family, and bring that back to our home. Thanks to Jessica + Joe for coming back year after year after year to let us document your ever changing family as they get bigger and bigger and bigger. We love y’all!

I’ve known Jenny as long as I’ve known Maria. It’s awesome to say you’ve known someone for over half your life, it’s even sweeter when it’s one of your wife’s best friends from high school, and she’s married with an awesome husband and sweet dog that’s named after your child hood dog. Here’s a few from a 15 minute portrait session I did for them as a thank you for the kindness they’ve shown to our family over the years…we’ll be doing a full one soon…

This family…is quite amazing. In the few hours I spent with them, I saw a love that runs deep. I heard loud laughter throughout the house.

And the best part…this is only a glimpse of what’s to come! I get to head back down to St. Louis this week to document another side of their awesomeness.
