We recently took a family road trip to Washington, D.C. and while there we spent some time with two awesome families that I met a few years back in Vegas.  This is the first set.  Meet the Owens family.  Heather is surrounded by a bunch of rock stars, so that’s what we played up in the session.  She’s also the reason we got to enjoy this awesome condo in Ocean City, Maryland for an evening.  We’re super lucky to have such wonderful friends! If you’ve been following along with us for quite some time now, you’ll notice that we are primarily wedding photographers and kid/family photographers.  That’s just who seems to contact us.  We really are PEOPLE photographers.  Let me rephrase that…HAPPY PEOPLE photographers.  For some reason, we’re blessed to photograph the happiest, silliest, people around, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

That leads me into the Abashian family.  All the kids were in town together for the first time in a LONG time, so they decided to celebrate with a photo shoot…a fun one that would capture their FUN personalities and the close bond that they all share.  With the little time I spent with them, I kept noticing how much they really enjoyed spending time with each other.  Lots of laughter…genuine smiles…and a shared LOVE that I can hope my family will have once my kids are all grown up.  Now…meet the Abashian’s.

Words can’t describe how amazing our friends the Millards are so I’ll leave it at this (and a few pictures)…our life is better because they’re in it.

If you’ve been following along with us for a while now you probably know the Youngs quite well.  We’ve been taking family portraits for them since Reichen was a baby, which you can see in these images he’s definitely grown quite a bit since we first met him (don’t judge, either the photos or our nice homemade logo!).  We see a lot of similarities between the Youngs and us.  Young kiddos growing up way too fast and smarter than they ought to be.  Reichen and Latham are super happy little dudes and we couldn’t be happier ourselves that we get to see them so often and document their lives.  Enjoy the newest photos of this wonderful family!
