Liz + Clay picked the perfect spring day to get married. It snowed the day before which is what normally happens springtime in Kansas City, right? Either way, the cold couldn’t stop these two from smiling the whole day. I shot the rehearsal dinner the night before, which is always a blast to do. It’s fun getting to know some of the people you’ll spend the next day with in a more intimate setting. Plus, rehearsal dinners are FULL of emotion. Win for everyone

We shot Liz’s brother’s wedding a few years ago, so it was nice catching up with some old friends.

Imagine for a second you’re Claire + Thomas. You’ve planned a killer outdoor wedding ceremony + reception. Now, imagine seeing the forecast for your wedding day is literally 140% chance of rain. You decide the day before the wedding to find a new spot, which means you need to change everything…for most people, that would be a nightmare. For Claire + Thomas, though, it was nothing. All that mattered to them was getting married and celebrating with their friends + family by their sides.

Thanks to the girls from Hitched Weddings + Events that’s exactly what happened. The day was great (and wet!) and Claire + Thomas had a wonderful wedding day.
