Married: Mary + Jake
Every wedding has 1 or 2 moments that you’ll carry with you for the rest of your life. Riding with the father of the bride & the groom 10 minutes before the ceremony was supposed to start so they could pick wildflowers & make a bouquet for the bride shows how much love these men had for her. Due to an unfortunate messup, the bride was going to walk down the aisle without her bouquet, but they wouldn’t let it happen. This love was evident throughout the day, from touches, speeches, looks. I can’t help but carry that kind of love home to my family.
Now, here are a few of my favorite shots from the day.

Married: Rachel + Joe
I don’t even know where to begin with this one. Rachel has been a big fan of Hello Happiness Card Co for years. And I met her sister, Sarah, a long while ago at a workshop we held in Kansas City. Let’s put it this way. When Rachel reached out about having Jenny + I travel all the way to Estes Park to document her + Joe’s wedding, we had to say yes. We had to make it work. The excitement was too great to not go.
Having been back for a few weeks, I think all the joy has been processed. There were so many beautiful moments we got to be a part of. All of the surprises throughout the day. The laughter. The tears. Joe even figured out how to get Rachel’s adorable corgi up for the wedding as a surprise…and they live in Aspen.
I told Rachel + Sarah I dream my kids will be as close as they are when they’re older. It’s a beautiful thing to watch their interactions + belly laughs.
Enough rambling. Here’s the pictures…
